Sole trader or limited company?

A limited company can be more tax-efficient once your profits reach a certain level. It also limits your personal liability and can look more established to clients. In return, there is more administration and reporting. We'll run the numbers for your situation and give you a clear recommendation before you decide.

Companies House identity verification

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, all company directors and people with significant control must verify their identity with Companies House. New directors must verify before they are appointed. Existing directors verify when they file their company's next confirmation statement; the transition period ends on 17 November 2026. Each person verifies directly with Companies House, usually through GOV.UK One Login. We'll make sure the rest of your company's filings are in order.

Already trading as a sole trader?

We'll manage the move to a limited company for you, covering the transfer of assets, contracts, bank accounts and HMRC registrations, with as little disruption as possible.

Expanding abroad?

Through the Crevaty group, we can also set up companies in the UAE (Dubai mainland and free zones), Singapore and other locations.
